1. Definition of Lead Time:

   1. Our definition of lead time is the total time needed to produce your custom order to the time it is ready to be shipped from our UMX Los Angeles, California, USA warehouse.

   2. The shipping time from UMX to your defined ship-to location is not included in the "lead time."

   3. Packages shipping via UPS-Ground service: from UMX to USA East Coast will take 4 to 6 working day, to central USA 3 to 4 days, to West Coast 1 to 2 days.
       

2. Rush Lead Time: General Speaking

   1. 7 working days: up to 100,000 pieces.

      1. Our rush lead time for custom imprinted holders is 7 working days. Custom size holder is 7 working days too. But if you need both a custom size and custom imprinted holder, the lead time may be longer, depending on your design and difficulty.

      2. Photo quality image imprinted custom holder will be longer depending on the designs.

      3. If your custom holders need to add-on hardware like pins, badge clips or other hardware, then the lead time will be a little bit longer.

      4. Rush order fee will be applied. Rush charge will depend on your job schedule and difficulty.

      5. You will be confirmed on the real time needed for your custom order on the Order Confirmation handout upon placing the order.
          

   2. 14 working days: up to 500,000 pieces.

      1. The first one week most of our factory manufacturing time are used to prepare raw material for production of larger quantity order. After we get ready for those raw materials, typically we can produce 30,000 to 100,000 pieces of holder per machine daily.

      2. Photo quality image imprinted custom holder will be longer depending on the designs.

      3. If your custom holders need to add-on hardware like pins, badge clips or other hardware then the lead time will be a little bit longer.

      4. Rush order fee will be applied. Rush charge will be depending on your job schedule and difficulty.

      5. The real time needed will be provided to you for your confirmation at ordering time.
          

3. Standard Lead Time:

   1. 14 working days: upto 200,000 pieces.

      1. Our regular short lead time for custom imprinted holder are 14 working days. Custom size holder are 14 working days too. But if you need a custom size and custom imprinted holder, the lead time might be longer, depending on your design and difficulty.

      2. Photo quality image imprinted custom holder will be longer depending on the designs.

      3. If your custom holders need to add-on hardware like pins, badge clips or other hardware then the lead time will be a little bit longer.

      4. The real time needed will be provided to you for your confirmation at ordering time.
          

   2. 21 working days: up to 500,000 pieces.

4. Economic Lead Time:

General Speaking

1. 6 to 8 weeks: up to 200,000 pieces.

   1. Approximate Manufacturing Time: 14 working days + 4 to 5 weeks for boat-in time.

   2. Our economic lead time for custom imprinted holder is 6 to 8 weeks. Custom size holder are also 6 to 8 weeks. If you need both custom sized and custom imprinted holder, the lead time may be longer, depending on your design and difficulty.

   3. Photo quality image imprinted custom holder will take longer depending on the designs.

   4. If your custom holders need add-on hardware like pins, badge clips, or other hardware, then the lead time will be a little bit longer.

   5. Partial shipment is always available for your convenience.

   6. The real time needed will be confirmed with you on the Order Confirmation handout at time of order.
       

2. 7 to 9 weeks: up to 500,000 pieces.

   1. Approximate Manufacturing Time: 21 working days + 4 to 5 weeks for boat-in time.

   2. The first week of the factory manufacturing time is spent preparing the raw materials for production of larger quantity order. Once the raw materials are prepared, typically we can produce 30,000 to 100,000 pieces of holders per machine daily.

   3. Photo quality image imprinted custom holder will be longer depending on the designs.

   4. If your custom holders need add-on hardware like pins, badge clips, or other hardware, then the lead time will be a little bit longer.

   5. Partial shipment is always available for your convenience.

   6. The real time needed will be confirmed with you on the Order Confirmation handout at time of order.
      
       

5. Silk Screen Imprinted Custom Holder:

   1. Listed pricing for custom imprinted holders already includes one color custom imprint.

   2. Set-up charge: $40.00 / per color, per print - will be charged for every individual order. The set-up charge covers the amount of time to clean and set up the printing machine. For every individual order, a lot of time is needed to re-adjust your imprinting paint color.

   3. Imprint Cost: +$0.10 / per extra color, per print.

   4. Second-side imprint set-up charge: add extra $40.00 / per color, per print.

   5. Second-side imprint cost: +$0.10 / per color, per print.

   6. The real imprinting charge will be confirmed with you on the Order Confirmation handout at time of order.
       

6. Custom Size Holder - Set-Up Charge:

   1. $80.00: one time tooling charge will be added for custom size holder.

   2. For more complex and difficult custom size badge holders, tooling charge will be higher.

   3. The real tooling charge will be confirmed with you on the Order Confirmation handout at time of order.
       

7. Minimum Order for Custom Printed Holder:

   1. Most of our best seller models have a minimum order for custom printed holders of 50 pieces.

   2. The less popular models will have a minimum order of 500 pieces.

   3. The custom designed and custom sized holders will have a minimum order of 2000 pieces for custom imprints.

8. Minimum Order for Custom Sized or Custom Designed Holders:

   1. The minimum order for most of custom sized or custom designed holders are 2,000 pieces.

   2. If your custom sized or custom designed holders need a lot of tooling then the minimum order will be higher.

   3. The minimum order is depending on the cost to make your custom holders, higher cost then higher quantity will be needed.

   4. Please provide us more detail information about your custom holders, like the specification of custom holder requested, usage of holders, on hand day, quantity requested etc, then our engineer will provide you the most cost effective way to help you!
       

9. Can you do custom imprint on any of your in-stock badge holders?

   1. Yes, we can do custom imprint on any of our in-stock badge holders, but it will depend on the quantity requested. The minimum order will be higher and the lead time will be longer for the less popular models.

   2. It is more cost-efficient to select from the badge holder closest in size to your desired holder from the badge holders that we offer custom imprinting services on, to eliminate the higher minimum order, higher cost, and longer lead time.
       

10. Is there any price difference between imprinting graphics or text, or imprinting both graphics and text?

    1. There is no price difference between imprinting graphics or text, or printing both graphics and text.

    2. The only price difference will be from the number of different colors of imprinting, and how many locations or spots you are going to print. For example, our standard listed custom imprinting pricing includes one color and one location imprinting; if you want to have two color imprinting or two location imprinting then the imprint cost will be higher.
        

11. What's the maximum printing area for your custom holders?

    1. The available area for imprint will vary for each different style of badge holder. Usually larger holders will have a larger area for custom imprint.

    2. Please check the size of our individual badge holders for available imprinting area.
